Expert team leading a popular Australian first service

PharmOnline has created an Australian-first program to provide support and advice to Tasmanians, in partnership with the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and the Tasmanian Government.

Experienced registered pharmacists based in Tasmania are offering an after-hours advice line to help take the stress off emergency departments and other primary health services.

Yvette, Lisa and Wes are hospital pharmacists with experience in community pharmacy, aged care and palliative care settings. You can ask for their advice by calling 1300 742 769 (1300 PHARMY) between 6pm and midnight, 7 days a week.

Some of the questions that our team can answer include:

“My dose was due two hours ago. Can I still take it now?”

“Is this medicine safe to take while pregnant?”

“Which ‘when required’ medicine do I use for my symptoms?”
